What to expect during treatment?

A layer of Medical Grade Carbon is applied to the face and is absorbed by the pores. We then pass over the face using a Q-Switch laser, Energy is absorbed by the carbon particles. The Carbon is shattered and blasted from the skin, taking with it both dirt and dead epidermal layers. The laser targets enlarged pores and pigmentation, aids in scarring and smooths rough skin textures. Wrinkles are also filled in by the increased production of collagen. Carbon Laser is the most comfortable laser treatment you will receive, there is no pain with instant results!

How will my skin look post treatment?

Your skin will be slightly pink, post treatment this will subside with in a couple of hours, an immediate clearer complexion can be achieved after the first treatment. The skin will feel super smooth, firm and Glowing!

Contraindications?

• Pregnancy / Breastfeeding
• Cancer or Chemotherapy (light sensitivity)
• Users of Accutane within the last 6 months
• Users of prescription Vitamin A (Retin-A or Tretinoin) in the last 2 weeks
• Active infections/virus (Herpes Labialis - Cold Sores) or inflammation on the area intended to be treated
• Tanned or Sunburned skin
• Fake Tan
• Epilepsy
• Surgical metal pins or plates under tissue to be treated
• Photosensitising medication or St. John's Wart in the past month

Post carbon laser facial aftercare:

• Avoid the use of physical exfoliants or active skin care for 72hrs post treatment
• Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, IPL/Laser, Laser hair removal on the treated area for 2weeks
• Avoid swimming, spa, saunas, hot showers and excessive sweating for 24-48hrs post treatment
• Apply SPF30+ or SPF 50+ daily and avoid direct sun exposure

How many treatments do i need?

4-6 Treatments are recommended for optimal results and can be performed every 2-4 weeks.
